We have always accompanied our logistics consulting business with measures designed to share our specialist knowledge in the broad field of logistics with others. We develop tailored, interactive training courses for our customers that explain logistics concepts, methods, and soft skills – with options available for every level:
- “Logistics Basics” conveys basic knowledge of the individual sub-areas of logistics and the dynamic world of its trends, as well as providing insights into supply chain practices. This basic module is not solely targeted at people making a lateral career step into the field, however. Employees in non-logistics departments—such as sales, IT, finance and HR—who are curious and want to gain a better, more consistent understanding of their customers’ requirements, can also use it to expand their knowledge and thereby improve internal company communications.
- “Logistics Advanced” covers specialist expertise regarding intralogistics, automation, green logistics, tried-and-tested success factors, soft skills, and more. It gives logistics specialists a tailored toolkit to make their day-to-day work easier. Whether they’ve been in a logistics role for two years or ten makes no difference. Each employee benefits from tailored methodological inputs—aligned with their prior knowledge and needs—to get them to the stage that they can put their new skills into practice in their daily work or on internal projects straight away. As well as specialist skills, they also learn indispensable (inter)personal skills, such as communication, motivation, dealing with comfort zones and challenges, conflict management, and more.
- The “Logistics Masterclass” features realistic training for managers and logistics teams that includes personalized feedback and coaching. It is aimed at managers and teams who want to reach that pinnacle, non plus ultra A combination of situational training based on real-life scenarios and effective feedback loops provide a shift in perspective and encourage both individual development and better group dynamics.
We also use individual coaching sessions to bolster employees’ specialist skills in the field of supply chain management, develop personal potential in individual settings, offer support for developing logistics managers, and facilitate discussions with experts.
Regardless of which training option they choose, our customers can be confident that their teams will be able to transfer what they have learned into practice. Investing in tailored staff training not only safeguards a company’s long-term success, but also aids employee retention. And in these days plagued by the skills shortage, this is more important than ever.
10 years of our reality training concept at KNAPP
We have been guiding KNAPP, the intralogistics specialists, and its staff with its employee training programs for some ten years now. The highly realistic supply chain management training we developed specifically for the company—which has been run 22 times—broadens employees’ perspectives across the entire supply chain and sharpens their insights into their customers’ individual needs.
Mario Rauch, Vice President at Knapp, is delighted to have us on board as a sparring partner: “The custom reality training concept really impressed us, and challenged even our more experienced colleagues. Improving their understanding of our customers’ problems and decision-making processes helps us make our solutions even more effective.”
